There are a ton on Amazon, are these some you have tried which didnt work? Just so I understand you are trying to connect headphones to a computer and the headphones only have USB or only have 3.55MM?

Yes, but to a tablet and if u read reviews or ask rufus none of them work.

IIRC, you never specialized that.

Your headet manufacturer should have their own versions that SHOULD work.

UGREEN USB Sound Card USB 2.0 to 3.5mm Jack Audio - This should work in theory if the device is not USB C, although I’ve not personally tested it on a tablet.

UGREEN USB C to 3.5mm Jack - This works great on my Android phone, the Nintendo Switch can also make use of it (although that's a bit pointless as the Switch has a headphone jack!) - regardless it works.

If you need an inexpensive very solid USB-C to 3.5mm for a computer / laptop, looks at the Apple USB-C to 3.5mm adapter. It has it's own built in DAC. It's also $9

Great reviews when used on apple devices and Windows 10/ 11 devices. Mixed reviews when used on an android tablet. The most common compliant 1/2 the volume on some tablets.

guys if i  didnt specify it i need the plug going into the tablet to be a male audio jack.

If I understand it correctly, you have headphones with a USB connection and want to plug them into a jack on your tablet? If that's the case, why even bother with the jack? Does the table have no USB port to plug the headphones into?

As previously mentioned, do you have the tablet name / model / picture of the ports?

It sounds like you have a single USB port (USB-C perhaps) and you want to connect two pairs of 3.5mm to it at one time?

If that's the case, you need a compatible USB? to 3.5mm, then a 3.5mm to 3.5mm splitter. This would not allow mic functionally.

Or is it two USB headphone's, trying to connect to a 3.5mm port on the tablet?

This would all be a lot easier if you noted part numbers, gave photos of what you're trying to achieve

Agreed, something along the lines of hey I have XYZ tablet and want to figure out a way to connect my USB headphones(brand and/or model) to them via the 3.5mm jack.

Not that I think it makes a difference, but the OP hasn't specified 2 sets of headphones. Just a (singular) set of headphones.

But there is a lot of ambiguity in the initial post and the follow-up responses. Which kind of makes it difficult to help effectively...

Gotcha.  So you have a tool for X and want to use it for Y.  It's possible, but the conversion from an analogue audio signal out of your whatever into a USB digital signal requires a fair bit of conversion (both physically and software) and maybe some power.  Use the right tool for the job.  Just buy some headphones with a jack plug. Done.

Is it easier to just give up instead of providing more information? You really didn't give enough information to go by. What devices exactly are you trying to connect and/or what connections they have, what are you trying to achieve exactly by connecting them? You say the adapters don't work, but maybe the adapters are simply not meant for the purpose you've been after (or the people who reviewed them as not working)? Interconnecting USB and analog audio is not a question of a simple mechanical adapter, it requires active electronics (that also has to be powered somehow, for example, something that immediately stands out as a possible issue in such scenario).

The more accurate/specific the information provided is, the more accurate/specific the advice/help will be. Basic rule of any troubleshooting.

That would be the reason.

I'm sorry, but this is infuriating.

Please answer the following questions:

- What is the tablet?
- What is the headset?

Neither questions have been answered as far as I can see. How are any of us supposed to help you without knowing the situation?

    • Citizen Sleeper and Robobeat are free to claim on the Epic Games Store by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe PC gamers have two more games they can add to their library without needing to open their wallets, as the Epic Games Store's freebie offer has just refreshed. That means last week's Warhammer 40K Speed Freeks and The Ouroboros King offer has been replaced by two new games, which happen to be Robobeat and Citizen Sleeper copies. From the duo, Robobeat lands from developer Simon Fredholm, offering a rhythm-based action game. Released only last year, the title puts you into the shoes of Ace, a bounty hunter that's targeting the robot showman Frazzer. The fast-paced title offers movement techniques like wall-running, sliding, and bunny hopping to zoom around while shooting enemies, but the requirement is doing everything to the beat. Outside of built-in tracks, the title also lets players upload their own music to populate its levels too. Next, Citizen Sleeper lands from Jump Over The Age, a sci-fi RPG adventure taking place in a ruined space station where thousands of people are trying to survive. The tabletop RPG-inspired title uses things like dice and clocks to change how the player approaches situations and survives their day-to-day lives. There is a large range of characters to meet with in the station, each with their own storylines and alliances. "You are a sleeper, a digitised human consciousness in an artificial body, owned by a corporation that wants you back," says the developer about the setting. "Thrust amongst the unfamiliar and colourful inhabitants of the Eye, you need to build friendships, earn your keep, and navigate the factions of this strange metropolis, if you hope to survive to see the next cycle." The Citizen Sleeper and Robobeat giveaways are set to run until June 25 on the Epic Games Store, giving PC gamers seven days to claim the latest offer. Once this closes out, new freebies will take its place on the same day. They are supposed to be copies of RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 and Voidwrought. Don't forget that mobile gamers can check out the Epic Game Store's weekly giveaways on Android and iOS to grab a freebie there as well.

    • The Online part hasn't even been announced and probably won't be included on day one. This is a massive singleplayer game.
    • While I agree with all that, it just proves there's an a** built for every seat.
