Hello chat, question I normally build my own pcs over the past 30 years but I see with the rising prices now is it cheaper to get a prebuilt one. If so I’m looking for a 4K  pc to play mainly Arc Raiders, gears and madden and ncaa football. I am a console gamer and likely would use my gamesir g7 pro zzz on the pc.  I would like to keep the price no higher than $2500 if this is even possible.  Please advise a great setup that could achieve this. Links, prebuilt custom sites etc would be greatly appreciated!

thanks for the help!

I would be playing it on my Samsung Q60N tv

  • 2 weeks later...

Hello, I purchased the following items to build my own gaming pc. So far, I have installed the motherboard and 7 fans.  I am just waiting on the SSD's to arrive today to put it together.  I have some questions hopefully someone can advise me on.

1)  The fan's that I purchased I will be putting 2 - ARCTIC P14 Pro PST 110 CFM 140 mm Fans on the top of the case.  I am thinking I can daisy chain them together but not sure where to plug it in on the mb as there is many fan spots.

2)  The fan's I purchased I am putting 3 - ARCTIC P12 Pro PST 77 CFM 120 mm Fans on the front of the case.  I am thinking I can daisy chain them together but not sure where to plug it in on the mb as there is many fan spots.

3)  The fan's I purchased I am putting 2 - ARCTIC P12 Pro PST 77 CFM 120 mm Fans on the bottom of the case.  I am thinking I can daisy chain them together but not sure where to plug it in on the mb as there is many fan spots.

Thanks, appreciate the feedback!

So, what is your question?

Can you daisy chain them? Yes. And there are also cable splitters, too.

Where can you put it on your motherboard? Just select where the closest spot is to the fans and plug it in.

Your motherboard manual should tell you where the fan headers are.

yeah, the questions were basically where I should plug each set of fans in on the mb or doesn't it really matter, picking closest spots is the best option. can't wait get it build to see how it runs, strictly using it just for games. probably going to just installed windows 11 pro and that's it.

    • I cannot believe this is a news post from Neowin. This should be embarassing, coming from a "senior editor". Is it your first day using Windows?! Maybe it's time to find a new Windows news site.
    • It's from having Core Isolation enabled in Windows security settings, which is a good thing!  It's letting you know it's not loading the Bonjour module as it's not signed in a way it would prefer. Bonjour was most likely installed along with iTunes. Feel free to disable that message using the checkbox.
    • I'm looking forward to starting over online. I have no reason to keep all the money, cars, rank after 13 years. Now if I can just move my character itself and nothing else. I would be fine with that. But I doubt they would do a setup that way.
