maxhunter
Hi everyone, I’ve been getting into retro gaming lately and trying to set up a few classic console emulators on my PC. Most of the setup guides mention BIOS files, especially for PlayStation systems, but I’m a bit unsure about the safest and most reliable way to get and use them. I understand they’re important for compatibility and running games properly, but there’s a lot of mixed information out there. Some sources look outdated, and others don’t really explain things clearly for beginners. Before I go further, I just wanted to askh, ow do you guys usually handle BIOS setup? Do you stick to certain trusted sources or methods? Also, are there any common mistakes I should avoid when configuring emulators? Would really appreciate any advice or tips from people who’ve already gone through this. Thanks! +Nik Louch Subscriber² Posted April 25 Subscriber² Share Posted April 25 Clearly I Am not going to say "where" but "the usual places - me hearty!" As for "safely"... what? They can't damage anything - go with the files that are recommended, and if they don't work (they will) try others. There is no safety aspect here. ahsansahab150 1 Share Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1465765-how-do-you-guys-safely-set-up-bios-files-for-older-console-emulators/#findComment-599053470 Share on other sites
