:hmmm: ok i'm having lots of network problems today...but anyways the problem now is that when i plug the network cable from the computer to the router, none of the leds have any reaction at all. none of the LAN leds light up and im sure the cable is plugged in right. this is the same with the cable that connects to the cable modem and to the router. the WAN led doesn't light up. the only led thats lit up is the power led. all the cables are in their correct slot. i'm using the SMC2804WBR btw.

edit: i'm using a linksys etherfast usb 10/100 ethernet adapter that the rogers cable company gave me when they were connecting my internet cable connection :p . it worked fine ever since i got it, so i doubt that it'd be the problem. and it works while connected directly to the cable modem too as well as with my old linksys router that screwed up, resulting in my new smc router which does not work now
