A small program to replace Paint

I need a simple program to do some basic things. I used to use PSP but i hardly uses all of the function. So i was wondering if there is any another similar programs that is smaller??

I find a program called Pixel 32 which honestly look DAMN good. However it doesn't seem to be developed any longer..................

Are does any body know ways to shrink down PSP?

I like PhotoFiltre - Swampster posted a link here on Neowin and I've been using it ever since. The website is in French, but there's an English version available - click 'T?l?chargements' to enter the download section.

It is EXACTLY WHAT I NEED!

And i think many people will like it too. Mainly because MS Paint is too restricted.

And some people like me who don't touch need to touch photo graphics software for most of the time. But we do need to some time cut and paste, Do some very simple thing with graphics.

And this is what i NEED!.

May be this software need a English Page first..... and then may listed in the freeware altenatives??

Yeah, it's a great program. I mainly only need to crop and brighten pics from my digital camera so PhotoFiltre is ideal. Also, it's not actually that basic - there's loads of stuff you can do with it.

I like The GIMP, but I hate all of the seperate windows, which is why I use this.
