Talk about ignoramus tunnel-visioning. Microsoft forcefully made the two related with Windows 11's forced account log-in, forced drive encryption, and storing the encryption key in those accounts. Just 'cause you're having a hard time seeing that forced-relation doesn't mean it doesn't exist...
Yeah default-encryption has been around for a while, and so has random triggering of BitLocker. Doesn't change the fact that microsoft now made it reliant on a forced microsoft account.
