erm i dunno if i should post it in this thread or start a new one but in ipb how can you make member only pages on different parts of the site? i used to use IPBSDK befre but that doesnt work with v2 and i just installed v2 (>.<) and i dont wanto have to install v1.1.3 again :/

any ideas?

You go into the permissions and set them so guests cannot view the forum.

nono no i ment like with the IPBSDK you can make it so other pages of your site (not the forum) require the person to be logged in the forum and have a certain user level thats what i wanto achive =)

Just set the permisions so that only registered users can see certain forums. Or even the whole forum if thats what you want. If you need further guidance on how to do that. Just post.

It was predicted to be released thursday but its already saturday morning..

IPB 2 is going to be a nice forum once development is completed.

I hope that many bugs in the current release are fixed, including not being able to export skins or create new ones in the ACP. Also, for some reason, after you post a reply to a post you selected for multi-quote, it remains selected, which means that post would be quoted in another post you make.

i've seen ipb2.0 scrrenshots and taken a look myself too. i think its not bad, better than the current default skin. Fast too. iwhen is it oging to be released? is neowin.net going to upgrade?

I was gonna upgrade my testboard to PDR5 but i never got around to it.

The PDR5 testboards ive seen have been very smooth.

Actually it is showing as latest build. They just haven't announced it yet.
