foobar2000 playback & DSP settings

Question

I haven't used foobar for that long yet and I'm still trying to find the best settings for my SB Audigy. Foobar has quite a few settings and plugins available and not all of them are that clear for audio newbies like me. So here we are, help out by telling what settings work best for your setup.. :)

Here are my settings:

Playback:

16bit fixed-point

Strong ATH noise sharpening

DSP:

Resampler (SSRC)

Skip Silence

Gap Killer (I like my music continuous)

Volume Control

Advanced Limiter

I'm not sure about the DSP plugin order but that would seem to be the most logical order for me.

WIth your Audigy you should use 24-bit fixed-point and turn off dithering.

I'm fairly certain that Audigy series both (1&2) are only 24bit cards on the paper and in truth process the audio in 16bit mode (or whatever). Using 24bit or above modes would only add one conversion more.
