Removing ink off phone?

Hi, I usually keep my mobile in the zip pocket of my blazer, and i also keep some pens in there, and for some reason, my pen started leaking (red biro) and some ink went on the back of my phone (Nokia 7650), now it isn't that noticable, but it stands out when there isnt alot of light on it.

I tried rubbing it with a damp clothe but nothing happend, so i was wondering if white spirit or something like that will do the job? i'd rather check with you guys as i dont want to do anymore damage.
