Delphi7 - save my project as .exe filetype


Question

I've built a generator for some passwords stored in my pc . I want to save this project as .exe file ( file type ~ program ) . Attached a pic for more details .

ADDON : What is your recommandation ( software ) for Programming ( i hope latest versions or whatever .. ) ?

yes just press the 'play button' to compile and run ur program or press 'build>compile project' or 'build > build project'. if ur wondering the difference 'build' is just a slower version of compile... you'll only need it when ur more advanced :)

oh and as regards what i recommend... Delphi. it rules :D

That all depends on what type of applications/development work you want to do. (For the record i've been a client/server dev for the past 15 years and currently use VB6/VB.NET)

VB has it's abilities, and it's restrictions. As does Java, C, Delphi or any other dev tool.

Delphi is a good piece of work. I played with it in it's first few iterations but didn't really pick it up because I was concerned the Borland was going under.

There is no SINGLE right answer (sorry) Ask yourself the following; what type of apps, what companies do I want to work for, is the dev-tool / Company going to be available in 5 years, how many other people use this tool, and (of course) do I feel comfortable with this language.
