GIMP 2.0 error

Whenever I run GIMP 2.0 I get this error: The procedure entry point XML_SetDoctypeDeclHandler could not be in the dynamic link library xmlparse.dll. I've been searching the internet for a while now, but haven't turned up anything. Does anyone here know what's wrong?

did u installed GTK win32 runtime?

malebolgia, if I don't run the exe directly and use the start menu entry instead, I don't get that error, but I do get stuck at the font loading screen.

I get the same error even if I run it from the start menu or desktop.

temp fix for the font problem is to add "--no-font" (no quotes) to the end of the command. It says this bug was fixed but it's still there in the compiled exes. Also (via DT) there is a post about the font problem pointing to a post about setting the HOME dir would fix it, but I have no clue about that.
