Hi, i need to set up a NFS share in server 2003.

If you read HERE, it seems like that was a built in feature in older versions of windows. But the nfsshare.exe file doesn't seem to exist in 2003 (at least not possible to run in cmd.exe without full path).

Do someone know if the feature is removed? Or are there some other ways to do it?

Btw, in the article it says it applies to Windows XP Professional too, but the file is not there either.

I have installed the NFS share server now, and shared a folder. When i mount it on my Dreambox running linux, i get "Permission Denied" when trying to access it.

What is wrong?

I have tried changing all share settings, like anonymous access, root access, but no difference. Any tips?

Just get "Permission denied", and when trying to CD to the mount (/hdd) i get:

"Can't CD to /hdd"

can you successfully mount the nfs fileshare?

are there any permissions options on the windows side of things?

who is the owner if you were able to mount it? ( ls -l / )
