the show-all-programs menu arrow bug is known, is in lots of themes, and is a lose-lose sort of situation

This can be fixed easily by changing the content margins in values->general->startmenu->toolbar->button (stylebuilder)

for the text not shown just change its color in values->general->button->checkbox->checkeddisabled & in radiobutton->checkeddisabled

anyway this my favorite style till now!

Damn, gonna have to download this at home and use it instead of my modded version of WURP. Using now in Computer Tech, good job Bant. Only things I see so far I dislikse about it is how the all programs list in the start menu is too big (But I rarely use the start menu....less than once a day, so it's alright) and the close / minimize / maximize buttons are a tad too small for my taste. they look good, but I like them a bit larger. Nice work though, loving the colors.

Hmm, actually the taskbar is a little thick and the icons on it are big and pixelated. The icons on the top left of windows are big and pixelated too. Is this problem possible ot fix with stylebuilder? Anyone know?

Hmm, actually the taskbar is a little thick and the icons on it are big and pixelated.  The icons on the top left of windows are big and pixelated too.

the taskbar is as thin as it gets (unless you turned off Lock Toolbar, in which case you shouldn't be complaining about taskbar size)

the taskbar icons look fine to me, same with the top left window icons

dunno what you people are rambling about...

the ONLY comment so far that i would agree with is the widgets. they look so beautiful, but are a tad small. i wish they were a tad larger so i could see the detail that was obviously put into them... that's what i like most about bant's themes. his widgets are so damn gorgeous. they almost make the theme for me, if you think about it those are the most used buttons.

once again... SUPERB theme... i love anything and everything you make. Hail Zod.

youre just gonna have to put up with that.

The problem is that the colour it puts in there behind the text is the Window" colour in the VS. This is usually pure white, but some themes (like Ahsen, which I might say is totally sweet - Bant, youre a theme making machine! Excellent work!) use a different colour. Some programs just assume that this colour is always white, and so It doesnt specify a different specific colour to put behind there. Thus, your problem.

Unfortunately you wont be able to fix it without messing up the theme's... well... theme.

Well Technically we are not supposed to have themes to them are we :p So it would usually be standard WindowsXP visual.

    • Thank god they got rid of the disgusting looking sidebars, and the corner radius looks much better, too. Two things I hated on day one, and never got used to.
    • JetBrains launches Rider 2026.2 EAP 5, bringing several AI improvements by David Uzondu JetBrains has released the fifth EAP version of Rider 2026.2, bringing a faster startup flow with the new non-modal startup screen and quality-check hooks for Claude Code and Codex. In the latest EAP release, Rider now has newly bundled "quality-check" hooks that run background tests on code edits before the external agent proceeds. For example, after Claude Code rewrites a class, Rider immediately triggers a PostToolUse hook that analyzes the code for syntax errors and formatting warnings. It then passes those findings back to the model as feedback, allowing the agent to fix its own output before finalizing the task. If Rider detects compilation errors, the IDE prevents the agent from treating the task as complete, while minor formatting warnings simply help guide the model toward better output. The "Explain with AI" feature can now tackle tricky build errors directly from the console, helping .NET developers who frequently wrestle with multi-targeting failures and MSBuild errors. JetBrains introduced Explain with AI back in the 2024.1 release cycle. With this feature, instead of forcing developers to copy long diagnostics into a separate chat window, Rider now lets you trigger these explanations directly from the error source. In similar EAP news, JetBrains recently opened the first EAP for IntelliJ IDEA 2026.2, with features that appeal to both those who are into AI-assisted coding and those who prefer "classic" manual development. For manual developers, the release adds revamped dependency completion for Maven and Gradle build scripts, which pulls data directly from the local cache to suggest relevant versions. It also brings the Spring Debugger update, displaying security indicators next to endpoints to visualize secured routes during runtime. In addition to database migration tools for Flyway and Liquibase, this build introduces a Hibernate debugger that shows the exact SQL or HQL queries that the framework plans to execute, letting developers jump directly to the Java code that triggered them.
