well if you really want a serious reply, here...

The svshost that you killed and causes the computer to want to restart is running the RPC service. If for some reason you really want to kill it and have it just start back up again and not have your computer automatically restart all the time, here's how.

Start | Control Panel | Administrative Tools | Services

Double Click Remote Procedure Call (RPC) go to the Recovery Tab, and change all to "Restart the service"

Click OK

This will only cause problems later... Try to solve the problem, instead of using a workaround. If one of your services is eating all your CPU cycles, look for an update or a MSKB article. Much better than messing with what you don't know :rolleyes:
