[Req]Visual Basic beginner help

I need some very basic VB help. I can't seem to find a site that actually explains how to code in VB that isn't in a book. I don't know it at all but I do have some Java experience and I know computers but VB is confusing me. What I need are some basic macros that I can use in excel. Here is the link to the assignment. If someone wants to do it thats fine by me but that isn't what I'm looking for. I just need a place to start if anyone know some good places to look. I don't understand why I have to know VB since I'm going into accounting but I don't have much of a choice. TIA.

excel macros? yeah, its like Vb. Books are always the best. maybe try msdn.microsoft.com.

there is no real easy way to learn vba, i started with just recording macro's and went from there.... just be very nosey with the help files.
