donbatman, lay off the personal attacks dude. opio's cool, and far from a troll. no need for name calling. he has his opion, you guys have yours, although i think putting him on your ignore list is a little extreme (and uneccessary). cheers.

so opio's post is just an opinion, but mine is a personal attack.

this is following the usual pattern. as follows:

1. 'x' posts a comment which directly or indirectly slags people for all using Sosumi/trying to emulate MacOSX/trying to appear l33t

2. 'x' is quickly and rightly told to get lost

3. 'x' whines about being 'ganged up' on.

you are right, BroChaos, in that as I said myself, I am breaking my own rule. but when i see the same pattern OVER AND OVER again, it just gets tiresome. as for the ignore list, it may seem extreme, but I come here to check out people's efforts at customizing their d-tops, not wade through page after page of this nonsense.

if anyone is here to label others' efforts as gay / lame / showoff /

or otherwise, it's really not welcome, that's all I want to say.

/me takes BroChaos' advice and removes Opio from ignore list...for now...:D

if u dont wanna go through pages of nonsense, dont continue it. if u dont like opio then dont talk to him and put him on ignore. this is about desktops not personal battles.

I can see why you're frustrated. That is understandable. But in order for things to change, some things need to happen. I should, A) ignore what bothers me; and B) not post my complaints to start a flame war.

batdotman, you should: A) Not respond to my complaints (well, if I stop complaining then you can't respond to anything, right?); and, B) stop fueling your own fires.

As for the rest of you, stop using sosumi and stop showing off your l33tness.

Haha.. isn't satire wonderful? In retrospect, this was a big waste of time on my part, and I apologize for that. :dead: Seriously though I hope I inspired some people to change their visual styles. Heh..
