nice nice

Hmm only thing is the font.. really hard to read ;(

How do u change the font's ? like for the overall style

Thanks

Go to Display Properties->Appearence and where it says Font size: choose

"Large Fonts" That will be the Verdana font at 7pts. "Extra Large Fonts" is

Verdana at 8pts.

:Attention:

I have been alerted of a problem with certain shellstyle colors not loading :(

There is an easy fix for this however :)

Go to Windows/Resources/Themes/postmod1/Shells and rename the gray1 folder

to Normalcolor Now go to postmod2/shells and rename green2 to Normalcolor

All the colors should now work. Or you can just go here and here and download the latest versions wich would probally be best considering I have repaired a few other bugs as well :D

I'd like to get some matching wallpapers...

and maybe there's someone (out there...)

who wants (and can) to make an matching WA skin? ? ?

BTW i would like to call this VS: "an excellent job of art...!"

Thanks a lot for sharing this GREAT VS!!!

Great VS! :D

Is anyone planning on making a Winamp skin, boot/login/shutdown screens, or wallpapers?

I'm working on personal replacements for the turn off/log off prompts. I'm not sure if anyone else is interested in replacing these, or if grayhouse would allow me to release them for that matter, but if anyone else wants them I suppose I could make a pack with versions for each style. If no one is interested, I won't bother. I would do something more popular, but this is all I know how to do. :p

Thanks and yeah, you have my permision. Id be interested in seeing the prompts.

I've made prompts before, but damn't I found them harder then making VS's

I'm working on some walls, but there going very slow. I'm just to busy at the

moment to devote my full attention to 'em. Let me know what you got when your

through. That is if you still want to do it.

I love this. (Y)

I would love to use this all the time, the only thing stoping me is the font. It's too small I'm having trouble reading it especially the when it's bold.

Aw well if it wasn't for the font this would be the best.

Thanks. I still want to do it, but this is turning out to be more of a challenge than I had thought. I've made a few simple prompts before, but the quality of this vs is hard to replicate. I'll keep trying though unless someone who is more experienced with graphics wants to take a shot at it. I'll let you know if I come up with anything. :)

Also, is anyone making a winamp skin, or boot/login/shutdown screens for this vs?

Thanks. :)

Maybe a solution: delete the font from your system. I did this and the theme is perfect now. Not that I disliked the font, it looks nice. But on my non-ClearType-CRT it is just too small. :(

    • You are clueless. The updates are done in the background so the next time you open Edge the updates are applied automatically. There is no need to close all your tabs. Just keep browsing like you normally do. Clearly you don't use Edge and are just one of those haters that complain for the sake of complaining.
    • I don't get this David. Can you explain it please.
    • Microsoft is busy. Lots of changes to be released imminently for Windows server or soon. Also, lots happening for next version as well. Third party virus scanning software is being moved out of Kernel mode to avoid repeat of Crowdstrike incident. Windows Protected Mode and Windows Ready Print no longer require third party print drivers to be installed. New storage stack being developed. New NVME drivers now available for Windows Server 2025 to improve local NVME drive performance by 60+ percent. NVME-Of of fabric being worked on for next release to improve network access to NVME drives. ReFs (next file system) now has ability to boot and will become default file system in next release of Windows Server. ReFs improves on NTFS in several areas including resiliency and reliability and scalability. New update stack is being worked on to unify Windows updates, and updates for drivers and first party/3rd party application software. A stricter and more robust third-party driver certification program (ODI) is being worked on to improve performance, thermals, battery life, and reliability on modern Windows hardware by tightening how OEMs and IHVs (Intel, AMD, Qualcomm, NVIDIA, etc.) build and ship drivers. There is a tone more but too numerous to mention.
    • Now disable that stupid OneDrive backup request when Windows starts please. So unbelievably frustrating to only have “remind me later” instead of “no and never ask me again”
