Well here is my current desktop. No graphics are mine. Just the colours. As this is my desktop on my computer and for my own personal use I tend to recolour all components to suit my taste/mood. I have a preety awful memory so I cannot give credit to all parts but here goes......

Go one better though for a measely $50.00 bucks or whatever it is...Go Object Desktop..I can't even remember what I pay for it..I know it's gone up over the years....LOL!!

Like everything....It's a personal preference though..If my Blinds aren't running either are my Machines ;)

the more i look at it the more i doubt it could be converted over to msstyle. i think the way the blue overlays the grey isn't possible without WB, i could be wrong, and if i am i'd definitely love to see this ported over as well. :unsure:

My W2K desk.

Just a few hacks - user32, marlett, browseui, byblos etc.

Can anyone tell me who first came up with the icon I'm using in the start button? I quite like it.

Also, who made the wall? I picked it up here but have lost the author's details.

      Well I've done a grand total of nothing, and it now clocks between 2010mhz and 1995mhz (stock is 1710mhz) and hovers around 80c, warmer than it used to, but tolerable clocks seem to have returned. Thanks for all the advice on this thread. Will review the evidence and make a choice.

      I really wonder if this has to do with the built in VPN or "private DNS" of browsers that trip up legal requirements like cookie consent and Cloudflare (to avoid all the botnet attacks we get). And BTW some botnets still manage to get past Cloudflare, we are constantly having to tweak it to block malicious traffic that ultimately cause a DDoS.
