:woot: That things cool looking! Especially the LCD. Nice touch. Now to figure out what the hell it is

whats' on the athens wasn't actually a longhorn build but Win XP with code specified for that Communications Demo. (yes I checked and asked and got it confired). The wallpaper was put in place to swurve us. 4080 has that cherry blossom wallpeper tho.

LOL they did an alright job of faking the screen. the shading is all wrong up close tho. The sidebar effect for glass was horrid and the start button looked like they wanted to have it as a glass effect but it was awful LOL Nope, I'm not that good in photoshop, anyone else try to get this? I know I'm like...nagging but I really like this wallpaper

so then what were they usin on that pic to emulate the explorer. i would die for it if its stable and would replace the existing explorer...

specialised code for that specific demo, like I said earlier. It's just running XP with code developed for that demo.

Get WinRAR and do a multipart compression, set each section's size limit to 250KB...

*Edit: Another tip, save the images as Bitmap files before you use WinRAR. The resulting filesize should be smaller, since BMPs compress much more than JPGs or PNGs.
