Notepad Error

Hey All,

I can't seem to run/launch Notpead. Can anyone tell me how to fix it?

Here's the error I get.

Err... expand NOTEPAD.EX_ from the XP CD and overwrite Notepad.exe files on your puter?

um make ur own text editor in vb? or use CMD > EDIT?

It might be a RAM issue. Do you get any other errors (similar to this one or not) with any other programs?

This is the only error I get.

I've just fully formatted my HD and installed a fresh copy of WinXP Pro and downloaded/installed all

updates that appears in WindowsUPdate. I haven't even finished installing all my program applications.

will sending you my notepad.exe work? if it will here it is. but mine is replace by foood's icandy junior version.

Nope... it doesn't.

I downloaded one from the web and it gave the same error as posted. I downloaded yours (JazMon) and it gave the same exact error.

I think I might have you use my XP CD and try and and try use the recover option in there and pray it fixes it.
