yeah, I think this to!

lol, i said before, the winver ss is 80% real (only the transparency is fake on the window) and the computer one is about 20% real, the my computer window was photoshoped, and like i said public beta by end of the week (may 21st) :) (btw the transparency glass start bar in the ss is faked, kinda like how the mce theme buttons were, the non faked on is white that i have)

Vaporware is something that somebody hypes up and gets people all excited over but in reality it DOESN'T EXIST.

oooohhh.... yeah there seems to be alot of that these days... sometimes i just wish ppl would sit down and THINK instead of jumping to conclusions like OMG can i have this theme? lol

That still doesn't explane how you'd get those explorer buttons apart from each other. If you also did that in Photoshop there's almost nothing special about this theme... But can you show us a screenie of the non photoshoped version?

I think this is weird, I came up with some "difficult" questions, and they're just being ignored.

But don't worry I'll just ask them again! :D

If this is for Windows XP:

- How did you mod those explorer windows to look exactly the same as the Longhorn ones?

- How did you remove the drive letters?

-Where's that original pic staying without the Photoshop mods?

If you could give me (and the rest of the members) some explanations it would be great!

Thanks

Looks cool, to bad we cant have that transparency in XP

Yz Shadow!

Is this theme now existing (correction: will it be existing) for Windows XP or not? Apparently this is a Longhorn shot somewhat edited and not a skinned XP. Am I right?

BTW: XP_2003, good questions ;)

yes your right, but its also an xp theme, the xp theme will be released later tonite because of some peoples fears its vaporware/photoshoped

currently in lh 4074 when you enable my or any modifed theme with a png transparent taskbar, it just turns black so in the ss I added the taskbar by hand (but it as been skined) the windows work with transpaency now in lh, but not the way the 2nd secreenshot shows beacuse of how should i put it, limitations of lh's skining engine (as dce was left in by accident, its crippeled)

1. Google "4051 ie explorer build 00008"

2. again, this was one of the photoshoped parts, as i said above (in the first post)

3. The orginal pic wothout the mods was posted this morning in the other glass thread, so heres the link linky

plus how did I make a fake build umber appear in Winver? adding the build info easy... used visual basic, plus some regestry edits :) hope that answers all your questions till later tonoght :)

the xp theme will be released later tonite because of some peoples fears its vaporware/photoshoped

I hate time lags! I guess I can download it tomorrow evening since it's time for me to go to bed... :(

Anyway, I'm waiting for this. I hope I will be satisfied... :D

The other theme looks great, it's just that the taskbar is somehow strange, that's why I wait for this one to be released.

by the way, Google "4051 ie explorer build 00008" brought me no results... :-(

http://www.windowslonghorn.net/modules.php...wdownload&cid=2 here you can download it :woot:

    • I really wonder if this has to do with the built in VPN or "private DNS" of browsers that trip up legal requirements like cookie consent and Cloudflare (to avoid all the botnet attacks we get). And BTW some botnets still manage to get past Cloudflare, we are constantly having to tweak it to block malicious traffic that ultimately cause a DDoS.
    • CPPC states can also be messed around with in most UEFI settings but aren't as robust as the ones that the Windows Scheduler can provide! Make sure you look into what your motherboard also has before customizing for the Windows Scheduler.
