From my knowledge, making fav and search on right can be done by make all buttons except things we want in shell32.dll transparent and that's unacceptable for me. About theme, yes. It'll be included in LTP7 which is much smaller than previous version.

no no no, not the buttons or icons, jsut the seperators. the lil seperators that go between like groups of buttons on the toolbar, not the buttons itself. u can have an infinite amount of seperators on the toolbar so u can move the search and favs buttons over to the right while the back and foward are on the left. u can also have other buttons too, cause they arent transparent its just the seperators. Try out inspirat 2 and u will see what i mean. its a nice lil trick and if my print screen key worked i would show u. but no the buttons are not transparent just the toolbar seperators. Trust me if it was that way it would be unacceptable for me too. Check it out, try out inspirat 2 cause it should be simple it seems (i have no theming experience, lol) and u get the longhorn effect but u still have all the buttons. Also when is LTP7 due? or like a intermediate version of 6 that has sp2 support? oh yea i was wondering, on the shot in the post above, can u make the shell style like that?

I really don't think that such a theme is good unless the back/forward buttons are joined like the way they are in longhorn. That's very important, and if someone could do it in XP, they'd be skinning gods.

Yes, it's totally impossible. I don't even think that hacking DLLs will get you there, nor will WindowsBlinds.

sweet man!!! what does it look like without trans on??? Also are the trans seperators gonna be included on all themes i assume? Very nice work x, i have to say i really didnt appreciate your work at the begining but i have to say this is just so sweet!!!! and you really do have alot of skill in this area, lol. Is the longhorn shell style gonna be included u know the one thats on top instead of the side, and is it gonna be updated to look more like the real one??? I have a .zip i made that has a ton of footage of aero and stuff from pdc, u can contact me at [email protected] on msn im or PsychoNic14 on aol (14 is not my age; im older than that, hehe) if u want it. I think it will help alot if u havent seen them already, hehe.

I dont mean to insult you or anything...but that pic on the last page doesnt really look 2 Much like the Longhorn on the first page :(

Please know that's my own theme not pretend to make it like DigitalFreedom. But you can use others from me such as Keynote for the same concepts. My last screenshot looks similar to this. I use inactive Jade elements for that.

Aurora from AeroXP.net

Attached pic is Keynote. Hope you'll appreciate that.

    • Google Gemini co-lead Noam Shazeer is leaving for OpenAI by Pradeep Viswanathan Noam Shazeer is best known as one of the co-authors of the 2017 “Attention Is All You Need” paper, which introduced the Transformer architecture that now powers most large language models. He also worked on several major Google AI projects, including LaMDA, before leaving the company in 2021 to co-found Character.AI. He also authored the Sparsely-gated Mixture of Experts (2016) paper, which is popular among the AI community. After falling behind OpenAI and Anthropic a couple of years ago, Google brought Shazeer back in 2024 as part of a major deal with Character.AI. Through this deal, along with Noam, several other researchers returned to Google DeepMind. More recently, he was a vice president of engineering at Google and a technical co-lead for Gemini. Today, Noam Shazeer announced on X that he is leaving Google and joining OpenAI. In his post, Shazeer said it was a difficult decision to move on, adding that he was proud of the Google team and what it had built together. OpenAI CEO Sam Altman welcomed the move with a post of his own, saying Shazeer was one of the people he had most wanted to work with since OpenAI’s early days. Google has made strong progress with Gemini over the past year, closing the gap with OpenAI in several areas. But losing Noam Shazeer is a major talent setback for them, especially after bringing him back less than two years ago by spending a fortune. For OpenAI, the hire adds one of the industry’s most experienced language model researchers to a team that is already pushing ahead with ChatGPT, Codex, and its next generation of frontier models.
