twinx or hyperx?

Recommended Posts

i'm conflicted about whether to buy twinx512-3200 3-3-3-8 or hyperx512-3200 2-3-2-6. i normally buy corsair but the tighter timings costs $30 more and i'm trying to save a little money. i have no experience with kingston so just wondering what you guys think. btw it'll be running with a 2500+ and nfs-7

"Corsair TwinX-C2 is rated 2-3-3-7" and "TwinX-LL is rated 2-3-2-6."

The 3-3-3-8 is not TwinX its Corsair Value RAM.

If you actually look for "Corsair XMS TwinX-LL" its the same timings of Kingston HyperX.

but it's here http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc....-145-499&depa=0 right there and it's even on the corsair site

Ok sorry , they make Corsair TwinX XMS at that speed, however it can be considered value ram:

TWINX512-3200PT

XMS3200 512MB 3-3-3-8 2x184 DIMM Platinum

TWINX512-3200C2PT

XMS3200 512MB 2-3-3-6 * 2x184 DIMM Platinum

TWINX512-3200LLPT

XMS3200 512MB 2-3-2-6 2x184 DIMM Platinum

Its neither C2 or LL. Thats my point.

The LL is the one you need to compare to the HyperX.
