Hi All..

I tried to search for (Computer cases) here in Neowin but the search engines were far from accurate!

I remember seeing posts with pictures of Nice Computer Cases.. Does anyone have the Links?

Other than that.. Do you have a picture of a nice Case? Or a website that has nice cases?

Thanks.

What kind of cases do you like? Flashy/Cheap Looking? Simple/Sexy looking ones? Price range? Plastic or ALuminum? Lotsa flashing lights to mezmorize you into buying more crap that you don't need?

Flashy doesn't always have to be cheap!

:shifty:

Bah, forget ThermalTake and LianLi. Not worth the coke cans melted to make either of them. Cheiftec was a good suggestion. Nice steel cases and originally cost only $50 where Antec was charging $120. Don't skip the "cheap" (as in price) cases merely because of the price tag. I've seen some sweet looking Enlight (cheapest around) cases that had, on the utilitarian side, the best airflow.

Companies to stay away from:

Lian Li (Expensive Coke Can)

Antec (They buy cheap cases and resell w/ logo branding and a large mark-up)

Coolmaster (This is half true. Stay away from their watercooling ones. The cases aren't bad.)

Skyhawk... Eww...

OK, you just took the top three case manufacterers in my book and flushed them down the toilet. I would have to disagree with you 100% there.

I have used two Antec cases, one Coolermaster, and almost bought a Lian-Li, and have had nothing but good experiences with all of them.

Mind stating the reasoning behind your comments? Where does Antec buy their cases from? I was under the impression that they made them. I also don't see how charging 60$ for an 350 W Antec PSU and a Antec case is over priced, when the PSU is at least 30$.

ThermalTake Tsunami all the way baby! And if you tell me that's not "teh secksey" you are my blood enemy for life.

Meh, the only grace factor on the Tsunami is the dust cover and the piano gloss finish. Purchase a Gateway case and have it powder coated. :p

I too like the piano gloss finish (I have a "Fairland Gamer" case that has the same finish -- bitch to clean). But the case, aside from the paint, is rather... bulbious..

Antec 1040, Alienware original, Coolmaser === Cheiftec Dragon.

Antec 1040 $120

Alienware - Not sold seperately

Coolmaster $120

Cheiftec Dragon, $50 unless you bought the chrome finished ones which were around $150 due to special order (now common).

Antec has never truly made any case on their own. They have rebranded cases. Their LANBoy case is an after market, one of the cheesier companies like Skyhawk.
