A medical question about my skin...

Recommended Posts

*Before anyone replies, I know that this is a tech forum, and not a medical forum. I am just wanting to know if anyone can help me figure out what this is without consulting a doctor. I hate doctors!*

Ok, last summer, I spent a little bit too long outside in the sun, and got burnt, rather severely, and had some large blisters on my shoulders. I toughed it out, and in a few weeks, I was good as new. But, as I noticed, during the winter, I had these small spots start appearing up and down my arms. Only on the sides of my arms though that got sun. These are very small dots, that are red, that have appeared all over my arms. Some are larger than others, but for the most part, all the same. I sorta shrugged it off. But now, as summer is back, if I go out in the sun, even with sunscreen, these dots seem to spread and get darker, and also make the arm painful. Also, I have seens a rather large outbreak of moles along these same areas. Yet, none of the moles or spots have any of the characteristics as any skin diseases I could find on WebMD (Which, wasn't very many). I'd sorta not like to go to the doctor if I don't have to, thus the reason why I am posting this... I have alread made sure they aren't freckles, as I have freckles in other places and they are not even similar in any form. Though here lately, as I have spent some time outside, and the sun reacts with the spots, I have started to feel sickly. I just figured I am getting a cold or something...

I have even taken a picture

Note, the reason the above picture is linked and not posted is because it is 430kb and 1600x1200 to show detail.

If anyone can think of anything it could be, please post it... I'll probably end up going to the doctor, but I figure if I can save $50 (co-pay) for something that is normal, I might as well do it...

Thanks in advance...

Sounds to me like you need to go see the Dermatologist ;)

Could be Egzima, I have bumbs like those too, but I've always had them.

P.S. If you get burnt like that again, make sure to see the Dermatologist...skin cancer isn't something you want to find out later you had ;)
