Gotta be 24 for me - although to be fair I've only seen upto half way through the second series of Alias, compared to the three series of 24.

I love both 24 and Alias, but 24 edges out Alias because Keifer Southerland is just an awesome actor. Some of his scenes just blow me away. Alias doesn't have the excitement that 24 does either. I own both seasons of 24 on DVD and I will definately buy the third, I really doubt I will ever end up buying any Alias seasons on DVD.

24 has a better story arc through the season(s) I think. Although to be fair I have only watched a few episodes of Alias. If I liked it enough I'm sure i would have watched more.

IMHO The 3rd session of "24" had major flaws with surrounding stories - EVERYTHING about the mainplot was thrilling and exciting but the thing with Chase's daughter or Wayne and Julia and thus President Palmer and that senator (cant rememeber his name) really ****ed me off and the WORST

when Gael (sp) is trying to defuse the virus "bomb" but no one thought of turning off central ventilation? WTF was that?!!!

Watched all 3 seasons and I loves it, although sometimes it does get a bit dull, but overall it is an excellent tv series. It's gotta be a bit hard to write a full 24 episode season though. I wonder how much longer they can keep at it. Would be interesting to see what they have in store for season 4. :blink:

They're both great shows. Alias hasn't had its best season this year, and 24 started off the season horribly with the whole Mexico events but has made up for it. Both are very different shows - the former deals with character development and relationships and such a lot more than 24, while 24 just piles on the thrills minute after minute.

24, Alias never caught on to me. It was sooo uninteresting, 24 kept me on my toes every minute and the storylines were waaay better than any other primetime show would throw at me. I don't watch much tv now, but I would love to see the third season on DVD soon (got the first two already)
