Hello my long lost friends! Just wanted to let you know that I'm still in the land of the living. Barely.

Also I was thinking that I didn't have enough incomplete themes in my life...so heres MotoXP! :pinch:

I sincerely apologize to everyone that I've kept waiting on long overdue promises. If you knew what I've been through since you last heard from me I'm sure you'd understand. Peace! I intend on keeping those promises, just need a bit longer to sort some things out.

This theme was inspired by Superbikes! I briefly owned a 1999 Yamaha R6 Superbike quite recently. Yeah that was about the only time life didn't SUCK so much. So this theme will be dedicated to the memory of that sexy beast and superbikes in general. Beautiful machines!

Here's whats in the RAR file...

- MotoXP (Alpha 1) Visual Style (.msstyles file only)

This is the First Alpha people so think 'concept'

I've only worked on the Start Panel and bits of the Horizontal Taskbar (excluding Startbutton and Tray area).

The rest of the VS is still 'ChaNinja Style RC5' (Akira)

- Font 'Snyder Speed' (copy to '%windir%\Fonts' folder)

- UserPic (same as Finesse Saintbluey)

- An odd looking text file which I'll explain later.

I'll post the wallpapers separately below.

KNOWN BUGS

- [Alt+Tab] Replacement tweak will be wack so disable.

- The 'Undock' option on the StartPanel really screws things up.

- Your Username on the top of the StartPanel will be cut off at the end.

You need to go to 'User Account' options and add a space to the end of your username but a normal space won't work.

You need to add one of those hardcore spaces by holding down the "ALT" key and pressing "255" on the Number Pad (with Numlock on)

Some Laptop users will find this difficult so I've included a text file with such a space that you can cut and paste.

Simply highlight the space between the two dashes (-) of the textfile filename, COPY, and PASTE at the end of your username.

(The textfile contains two more spaces when you open it for safe measure ;) )

- No domain friendly version yet.

CREDITS

- The bike on the Wallpaper was hijacked from the "Yamaha 2004 Range" brochure. Its the new R1! *drool*

- Everything else except the font was done by me.

REQUEST

- Please DO NOT make any ports of any kind or upload this theme to any sites. Please wait till at least Beta stage.

- This release is strickly for Neowinian feedback only.

Greetings to all my friends here and fellow designers!!! Miss you lot!

    • Well I've done a grand total of nothing, and it now clocks between 2010mhz and 1995mhz (stock is 1710mhz) and hovers around 80c, warmer than it used to, but tolerable clocks seem to have returned. Thanks for all the advice on this thread. Will review the evidence and make a choice.

    • I really wonder if this has to do with the built in VPN or "private DNS" of browsers that trip up legal requirements like cookie consent and Cloudflare (to avoid all the botnet attacks we get). And BTW some botnets still manage to get past Cloudflare, we are constantly having to tweak it to block malicious traffic that ultimately cause a DDoS.
