McAfee Problem

Question

Well, I have McAfee VirusScan Pro 7.0, bought in a double pack with Firewall 4.0

I update them frequently, everything works fine for me usually.

They are both set to start with Windows.

When I start up the computer and log in as me (the owner of the computer) everything works fine.

When my sister logs into the computer (limited account), on log in she gets a message saying "the McAfee firewall service is not enabled, do you want to enable it now?"

Everytime that either she, or I (trying to sort things out) clicks yes, the message reappears, and now I tell her to right click on the system tray icon and go to Run firewall, which brings up the main page.

If my sister has been on the computer and then she logs off and I proceed to log in, I end up with the same message, at which point I become confused and investigate settings, to no avail.

Now I ask for your help here at neowin.

The two pictures are of my two McAfee pages, which are interlinked by the bottom left of the window. You'll notice that the McAfee Firewall page shows a working firewall service, which has no problems. The other screen is the McAfee VirusScan page, which says that the McAfee Firewall service is disabled.

Help me please!

Because McAfee programs(most at least) have issue with Fast User Switching.

Try disabling Fast User Switching and see if it works that way.

There should be a readme.txt somewhere on the cd and in it you'll find Fast User Switching under the Known Issues Section.
