resizing partitions without losing data in os x

VolumeWorks enables you to resize and manage partitions (volumes) on your hard drives. Unlike traditional methods Volumeworks allows you to shrink or expand partitions without erasing them. It is able to hide partitions from most users, and can be used to delete or create partitions. Written specifically for Mac OS X - it supports most native drive formats (SCSI, ATA, USB, Firewire, etc.).

Woohoo!! The ONE thing I've missed from the ol' windows days.

BTW, how did you find out about this? I want to buy it, but I'd like to see some experiences of people actually using it successfully.

Awesome. I'm going to backup my stuff to a few DVDs and give this a try. I want to create a separate partition as a work area for multimedia or I might look at creating a swap partition.

I really like iPartition. I've heard bad things about VolumeWorks, so I don't want to try it.
