I've already implemented this in my copy of this theme, but I think the attached image gives more noticable highlighting of the taskbar buttons than Style 1 has at the moment. Looks pretty sharp.

that's neat. but the yellow flash could be better if it was light green or something :)

I don't know about the others stefanka, but I've noticed that problem on Substyle 1. Can't really show it with a screenshot. It has to do with the hitarea with each of the buttons.

Can someone help me with the browselc.dll replacement thing

I delete the file browselc.dll in system32\dllcache

and replace the browselc.dll in system32

then I restart and got the result below

Maybe he meant something like in my pic. When you make small windows you get that black in top right and then you cant resize the window on the right.

Don't replace browselc.dll. It merely changes the text on the Explorer File menu to "~". It does not hide the menu bar.

This configuration (without modified browselc.dll) will also look OK:

Oh, by the way, I hope you could clean up the toolbar images in this Visual Style "stefanka" They looked of so poor quality that I personally disassembled them and cleaned it up and replaced it.

It isn't hard to see where the toolbar images (and the Visual Style) come from: the "Longhorn" prototypes.

is there a little how to about making visual styles? i would like to modify some small things in this theme (NOT for releasing it, for my personal use, and anyway not without stefanka's authorization)? i've downloaded the free trial of skinstudio but it's a little complicated to use...
