Alright, so I just bought a new pair of Mission skates (I love these to death) for outdoor roller hockey. Well, as you can guess, the wheels are made for indoor and after a few games, they're worn out already and I have to rotate them after every game.

My question is, can someone explain the numbers on the wheels other than the mmeasurements? IE 78mm & 78A or 80mm & 80A. I'm in the market for new wheels and E-Bay is filllleeeeddd with them just waiting for me to buy! Any explanation would be grreeaat! Thanks!

:)

obviously the mm (millimieter) is the size of the wheel. If you have missions, theyre probably 72mm in the front (for accelleration and turning) and 80mm in the back for top end speed. the A is the hardness. Anything over 84A is good for for the street, if ur playing indoors on tile, then u want something softer in the 70's

btw, which missions did u get?

i have a pair of tours...forget which model...they are hi-lows too. they were a little cheaper than the equivalent missions, and had better bearings...

anyways, i was just looking at the latest tour line, and they stopped doing the hi-low, is mission going to all same size wheels too? wonder why they would change...

Is it just me or does Mission make the most unreliable skates ever? I remember when Mission used to sponsor my team and we got them free or for real cheap, they would always break. The boot would literally just break down after a few weeks. Sure Mission makes the best looking skates, but I just hate them now. The M1 sticks are horrible too, I think I only like there pants. And you are supposed to be leaned forward, you skate faster and are stronger on your feet and your center of gravity is lower. Alot harder to knock down and you are always ready to accelerate. I wish more people played roller hockey instead of ice.

you were sponsored by mission? we came 2nd place at nARCH when it was in Vancouver but we werent sponsored (by any big companies). Ive owned 3pair of mission and they were all fine, infact i use one of them for street and its still perfect. Probably one of the only skates that comfortably fit my feet.

i love my mission d1s. very comfortable. dont use them that much though since i play ice

i think missions make great roller skates but when it comes to ice i think they're lacking a little. just my opinion. i've owned ccm and bauer but something about mission ice doesnt want me to buy them

Vancouver was a few years ago, what team and division were you when you went to narch? All my brothers team has been sponsored since he was 7, maybe you don't know the right people. But now he wins his division at narch each year, so it is almost autmatic to get sponsors.

Tour was big at a time, i always thought they went bankrupt... honestly, i dont play rollerhockey anymore, but it seems as if Tour hsa fallen off the map... i may be wrong though (probably am)

i still hear about tour but mission has taken over. they say that tours are incredibly light. i dont know anyone that's bought them in awhile but they've won them in tourneys

    • I do not remember anything happening to Apple and Google for bribing people not to make Apps for Windows Phone. Edge barley has a foot print to matter. If the other browser companies want more of the Pie, they need to do better. I use Brave on all my personal device. However in industry, Edge of default, as we can manage it easier with MS tools.
    • On the one hand, it shouldn't be difficult. You buy a computer, you decide what OS you want, which browser etc. Simple enough. But that's the techie side of things. My sister, my mother, wouldn't bother with such a thought. And I'm pretty sure that if you presented a window asking them what to pick they would say, "I don't care! I just want to access my Email!"
