yeah this is the best resolution..cuz if u get it more bigger...like 1280 it's kind too little for a 17" screen and u can have vision problems lot more easier i think...:ponder:

More than the 3rd time.

Mine is 1600 for games, I got radeon 8500 and AthlonXP 1800 :D.

For windows it depends on task. Sometimes 1600, sometimes 1200, but 1024 is nice too!

i don't think so... i'm at my monitors max and it's a 17inch screen.. a NEC Accusync 70 and it's at 1280 X 1024 and i'm loving it.. i wanna go up to 1600 X 1200 when i get a nice 21inch!!
