Hey!

I am using foobar since about a year, started now to cuztomize it.

I added these to the sidepanel: (track info, playlists, covers, also a panel stack),

i only need one more..which is albums list.

I couldnt add that to sidepanel, i made my database and i can check

album list in a new window, but when i want to add it to the sidebar

i can't find it anywhere..any ideas whats wrong?

(using 8.3 with coloumns ui 0.1.2)

Another one:

Is there any ways i can change the seek-bar colors manually? (i should

change the background-so its the same as the foobar color).

I know this depends on windows styles, but this wont change for

me with any styles.

Well, this is not that imporant, because this is fixed in foobar 9 (i installed

that one too), but i need to wait for the plugins..so currently

i'll stay at 8.3

thanks for the ideas

One more question: i want to center the text in the main window title..i tried different modes, but none worked. (char(1)c..but i guess thats for the playlist and file info etc..)..

is there a way to do that in the main window title?

AFAIK, this is possible only when modding the msstyles...

When I try importing the .fcs files I downloaded here as .txt file, I get following error:

ERROR (foo_ui_columns) : please update columns ui in order to use this fcs file

I got the latest version so I don't understand. When I try with a .fcs file downloaded on another site (so not having to open in Notepad and save as .fcs) everything works fine.

What should I do?

Does anyone know how to change the buttons in the 24/2 0.9 Release Candidate? I tried the buttons from musicmusic's page and followed the instructions but all my buttons were blank afterwards, had to revert to the standard buttons. It's been quite a while since I last tried ColumnsUI so I might be missing something obvious.

Also, how do I go about using the buttons people post here as a single .png file?

You can't use the old puttons (where all buttons - only 1 png), in the ver 9.

You must cut these buttons, and change them one by one.

I tried it yesterday, but my buttons were bigger than the original ones,

and i didnt wanted to work more on it..so i left the original buttons,

anyways im still using 8.3

Well, duh. That's part of the problem.. The .txt files I renamed to .fcs won't work in foobar.

They're most likely for the 0.9RC, which requires a newer columns_ui, hence the error message saying you need a newer version..

Im having a difficult time cutting up my buttons, some work some dissapear and the rest wont show

Actually I think I got it working, 16x16 pixels exactly no more no less.

If anyone wants them let me know. I'd like to convert it to this new format for foobar.

I'm using foobar 0.9 and I want to use Azrael Color schemes, can someone teach me how?! After I imported azrael.fcs, the playlist went all black

EDIT: Wow, ooomph's foobar is sooo nice O.o

I'm almost positive you need to check the box Enable legacy support for globals in the columnsui preferences.

    • No, "a great deal" for 32GB of DDR5 is $50, not $350. I mean I see what you mean, that it's a decent price compared to what's currently available, but you really should put a disclaimer in this articles explaining that it's still multiple times more expensive than it used to be.
    • Linux 7.1 stable launch looms as Linus Torvalds releases the final release candidate by Paul Hill Linus Torvalds has just released what’s expected to be the final release candidate of Linux 7.1, rc7. The Linux founder said that this RC is not small, but smaller than recent releases, which is a good sign because he expects the stable version to drop next week if things continue on this trajectory. Linux kernels see a merge window for the first two weeks of their life, where developers add new features, then there are about seven or eight weeks of release candidates before the stable version. Typically, there are seven release candidates, but if more time is needed, then an eighth release candidate is released too. This week’s RC’s biggest area of fixes was for GPUs, with networking just behind. Torvalds said that the rest of the release was “pretty random and spread out” with some architecture fixes, driver fixes, filesystem improvements, and build fixes for more unusual configs. In terms of specific pieces of hardware receiving improvements in this update, we had more AMD Zen6 models supported and fixes for AMD SDMA 7.1 and GFX11. Hardware that got improvements includes Lenovo laptops, HONOR laptops, and MSI laptops. Here are the changelogs for those: ASoC: amd: acp: Add DMI quirk for Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 15ASH11 Input: atkbd - add DMI quirk for Lenovo Yoga Air 14 (83QK) Input: atkbd - skip deactivate for HONOR BCC-N's internal keyboard ASoC: amd: yc: Add MSI Raider A18 HX A9WJG to quirk table ASoC: amd: yc: Enable internal mic on MSI Bravo 17 C7VF When the stable Linux 7.1 is released, it will be up to distribution maintainers, such as Canonical and Red Hat, to release the update to their users via the update manager. Some versions of Linux will get it before others, and some will never get it at all. Fedora and Arch-based distros will be among the first to get it, though. If you don’t get it, the security fixes will be backported to your system’s kernel, so you won’t be at risk, but you won’t get newer hardware support, which is fine if your computer works now.
