please give in all details when you release it, regarding config as am new to the community

usedto use winamp then switched to wmp 11 which is quiet good especially the search engine but this looks less resource hungry to me and seems to have a lot more options

and one more thing GREAT album by NIN

That is some hot stuff. I haven't managed to make the leap to panels UI yet but that really makes me want to. Nice and simple, just how I like it.

Well, I think it's about ready to share..

You will need:

- foo_ui_panels (and all prerequisits for that)

- foo_uie_wsh_panel

- my files

1) Download my files - here

2) Extract the "mogfuu" directory to your foobar2000/images/ directory

3) Extract mogfuu.pui to foobar2000/PanelsUI/ - if the directory does not exist, create it.

4) start foobar, switch to PanelsUI in preferences, and select mogfuu from the dropdown.

5) paste the following line into the "user globals" box, in the PanelsUI section of preferences

$puts(coverPath,$replace(%path%,%filename_ext%,cover.jpg))

- you can replace "cover.jpg" with whatever name you use for your album art.

That should be all, thanks for the feedback to my previous screenshots :)

I'm not sure if it's just me or not, but when exiting foobar, foo_uie_wsh_panel causes foobar to crash - if this annoys you, you can switch to a regular seekbar/volume bar in the panels code.

find 

//$panel(Seekbar,Seekbar,2,$sub(%_height%,42),$sub(%_width%,80),12,)
$panel(wsh seek,WSH panel,2,$sub(%_height%,39),$sub(%_width%,80),5,)

move the "//" from the top line, to the bottom line, and then do the same for

//$panel(Volume,Volume,$sub(%_width%,62),$sub(%_height%,42),60,12,)
$panel(wsh vol,WSH panel,$sub(%_width%,62),$sub(%_height%,39),60,5,)

edit:

the font being used throughout the config is "hooge 05 55", you can get it here - hooge fonts

ah it was a problem with my code,

i've re-uploaded the rar now - with a fixed pui

damn wsh panel was causing foobar to crash, so i removed it from the layout.

just re-dl the pui, you should be fine

Well in the current version the wsh isn't causing it to crash and looks nice.

And for some reason the images still don't work for me...

even when you exit foobar?

it did it everytime i exited.. odd :\

the image problem is because of the paths, just replace all instances of

\pure3\b\

\pure3\bw\

\pure3\w\

with

\mogfuu\

should sort it.

BTinterval.png and cover art works, but the rest don't seem to work...

do you have user profile support disabled? this config was setup for use WITHOUT user profiles.. other than that, and replacing paths with \mogfuu\ in the pui config, i can't think of what else would cause it.

i'll do a clean install of foobar, and see if i have any problems.

Right, with a clean install - without user profile support enabled, and just having "mogfuu" folder under images, the pui loads fine here.

redownload the rar from my webserver, it has the updated files.

Just noticed you don't have foobar2000 in a "normal" location, that could be why the images don't show :\

It could be my foobar install, quite old. I'll do a clean install, nothing to risk.

      I'm fine with a little reasonable promotion of Edge, but the degree which they do it right now I consider extremely unreasonable.

      Microsoft AI boss no longer believes that AI will replace human workers by David Uzondu Mustafa Suleyman, the head of Microsoft AI, recently took back his statements concerning white-collar jobs that he gave to the Financial Times in an interview made back in February, where he claimed that AI would replace office workers within 12 to 18 months. On Monday's episode of The Verge's Decoder, Suleyman recast the technology as more like a helpmate than a tool designed to take over your job. He explained that smaller office duties will "increasingly become digitized, automated" as people generate more digital materials. During the discussion, Suleyman emphasized a "very important distinction" between "tasks" and "jobs" to clarify his previous claims. He argued that his earlier comments only referred to individual actions that people perform at their desks. Suleyman used to work for DeepMind, the research lab he co-founded in 2010 alongside Demis Hassabis and Shane Legg, before he left in 2022 to establish Inflection AI and build an empathetic digital assistant. Microsoft hired him in March 2024 to lead its newly formed "Microsoft AI" division, placing him in charge of consumer products like Copilot, Bing, and Edge. His February comments also detailed plans for Microsoft to achieve self-sufficiency with a $140 billion infrastructure budget to train frontier models, predicting that creating a customized AI will soon feel like creating a podcast or a new blog: The 41-year-old is not the only AI executive who's softened his "AI will replace you" stance.       Meta will now use data from outside businesses to personalize AI responses by David Uzondu In an update that's rolling out globally (except in a handful of countries), Meta will use your data from outside businesses to personalize your AI responses and your primary feeds. Meta already utilizes your shopping activity to target ads, but the company now plans to expand this tracking to personalize other "parts of your experience" like feed algorithms and AI assistant chats. The company is replacing the two settings ("Your activity off Meta technologies" and "Activity from other businesses") that currently let you disconnect off-platform activity with a single, renamed setting called Activity from other businesses. If you don't want Meta to manipulate your feed and AI responses using your outside history, you can just turn the Activity from other businesses setting off in your account settings. This toggle resides within your Accounts Center, applying your choice to every connected profile. Turning this off will not stop companies from sending your data to Meta. The company will still collect your web interactions, but it only uses them to train products, while still accessing external accounts you connect. When The Verge spoke to Meta spokesperson Emil Vazquez, the representative said that this update will exclude several locations at launch, including the European region, the UK, Brazil, Thailand, South Africa, Turkey, South Korea, Ecuador, Nigeria, and Kenya.
