If you don't think the rules apply to you, then you can leave this thread. Why do you insist on flouting the rules and doing things like this? Offer your invites to the people on the queue, or leave us alone. We are trying to run a fair system so that Neowinians can get invites, and people like you, for some reason, insist on mucking it up.

You don't get it do you, I cannot make another thread outside of this one. Cara locked my other topics. Stop trying to HORDE all the gmail invites for yourself. This queue is rediculous.

These are MY Invitations and I Will not be HELD to YOUR RULES Which I don't agree with.

Look, if you want to get rid of your invites, why not just do it quickly by giving them to people on the list? The mods seem to be under the mistaken impression that this thead is for all Gmail inviting of all sorts, but it's not. Tell them this if you have to, but we're trying to run a queue here, not just a forum for invite offers. I'm sorry if the moderators are locking your threads, but talk to them, don't just break the rules on this thread. Please, if you want to get rid of your invites, just donate them to the people on the top of the queue.

both of you have valid points. I wish they would allow someone to start another thread for everyone to post saying if they have invites or not. It is hard for those that don't agree with the rules to offer up their invites due to the HUGE amount of gmail threads created. I think this arguement needs to be taken up with the mods and not against each other. You are not gonna get anywhere arguing with each other

I agree; for some reason, the mods think that this thead, because it is called "definitive," is for all Gmail invites. Who should we talk to in order to rectify this situation? We could open it to all invite offers, but that would make the thread confused again, which we don't want.

Well, the idea of this thread was that we would have a queue, so that people wouldn't have to scramble when someone made an offer to get an account, and they could be confident that, once they added their name, someone would give them an account in due time. Xplatinum didn't intend for this forum to have no rules; we should talk to the mods if we want another "random Gmail invite" thread, because this isn't it.

I think we should talk to Blaise, as he is one of the moderators of the forum in which this thread is located. xStainDx, do you want to PM him, explain your situation, and ask if you can get another thread started with the name of "all random Gmail invites" or something of that matter, so we can end this problem?

Well, there are really two rules. The first is the one you mentioned, and the second (which isn't on the original post, but should be) is: "No random Gmail offers; this is for the donation of Gmail invites to a queue only." We could change that, obviously, but I don't think it was what xplatinum had in mind when he made this thread.

i know this queue thing is a right way to tidied up but im super lazy to hand out invites by pm-ing them. in a way i should get approached. not approached if im giving it out right. never mind that. and im also offering my invites to the members at gfxOasis so i dont want to be unfair to them.

Look, this thread really wasn't made for random invites of this kind. If you're "super lazy," give all of the invites to one of the leaders of this thread (such as myself, myie2_user, xplatinum, or smokie), and we'll distribute them for you; until we get this issue resolve, please people, don't post random invites like this on this thread.

I apologize; I meant to say "leaders of this thread," but I made a mistake while typing quickly. Also, it is true that we don't have moderator badges (you can't be a moderator for an individual thread, anyway), but we have taken on most of the responsibility of leading this endeavor, which has been working quite well.

Yea I have been meaning to say something about that, you guys have done a great job keeping this organized. I noticed alot of people getting confused and it can get confusing when there is alot of action going on so I would like to say thanks for organizing this and keeping it going so we can give out all of these invites
