Is Giga discussing this theme and it's updates/etc on any forums?

Yeah, he beats off to it over at www.gfxoasis.com - Marvilla posts 'AWESOME THEME GIGA! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HARD WORK!' with some really awesome emoticons. No offense to them at all, but it's ridiculous over there.

Given the problems with you in the past this kind of comment proves you have a problem and you're exactly the kind of trash I try to keep out of our peaceful little community. Your trolling didn't work on our forum so you come here and troll you're banned.

Its all about appreciation and respect for the givers, which you, and a lot of takers, appear to know nothing about. I agree with Kaos.

it's not at all, giga is staff there so it s a little more logical that he posts it there, of course he can always release it over here. :)

marvilla just enjoys the theme and expresses her feelings clearly.

I spoke my mind, and was banned. Fair enough. I agree with your 'ruling' as well. I was just a bit sick of the ridiculous over use of emoticons and the like, so I've not been hanging around there much anymore. Your 'muting' of me a week ago was fine as well. And you know as well as I do that I'm not 'trash', I just said something you didn't want to hear. Simple as that. It's the internet man, and I spoke my opinion. Sorry you didn't enjoy it.

That's all I really have to say. I wish you could be less agressive and realize all I was doing was trying to point out that Marvilla (whether she be your wife or not) is a bit 'lame' per se in her posts, but again, that's my opinion. Like I said, no offense, but you took some. Fair enough. Take it easy, hoss.

I agree, it's very logical that he only posted it there. He doesn't like to post stuff on here because people request too much stuff. He's pretty narrow-minded, as well as bant is. But that's all good, it's just the internet, as I stated before. Good stuff. Thanks for trying to und

thats a bit harsh on Marvilla, were all supporting good themes

Yeah, no, I agree on the fact that we all support good themes. But then again, you must realize and take into account the fact that it's just that - a theme. It's nothing to get insane over and create an entire e-persona for. It's just not in the books, man. But thank you for trying to understand where I was coming from. It may have been a bit harsh, but I did state that I didn't want to offend anyone. Oh well. Back to reality. :shifty:

That's true; however, nowhere does it say anyone owes anything to anyone. We're all just users and members of these communties, wherein themes are released. I was just a bit harsh in saying that Giga only releases stuff over there, for whatever reason that may be (although we all know why). I know about respect, I just choose to respect people, not usernames on a message board that post text accompanied by a ton of little e-faces. You know what I mean? :) Take it easy, I'm done talking.. you can all yell at me now. Let's get back to the topic at hand.. his theme. Sorry to interrupt.

Sorry to interrupt.

No you're not. If you would've been, you wouldn't have said any of that.

What is this attitude that people feel somehow themers owe everyone else something?

You just stated that themes were nothing to get an ePersona over, yet you just called Giga and Bant narrow minded. Sounds to me like you just gave them your own ePersona.

How would you expect anyone to release anything here with members like you making comments like that? So what if its the internet? Do you feel that somehow gives you the right to be an ass? I must have missed those internet guidelines. I'll write to Al Gore to send me another copy.

Artists generally look for a community were they can share their work, receive feedback and help on existing and future work. They are not looking for a download depository, which is exactly what these forums and many others have become. Just a bunch of 13 year kids standing with both hands out screaming "giv'me giv'me giv'me!" And then they have the audacity to start demanding things... from someone who works his ass off only to give it away for free!

I am guessing you are still in high-school. Hopefully some day you will realize this world isn't all about what you can get out of it. How dare you insult someone who daily devotes themselves to bettering other people's talent and giving a sense of community out of their own pocket.

Don't like gfxOasis? Fine, don't come back. You are not the kind of member we want there anyway. No need to go around spreading your opinion of the place like some disease though and insulting other members. Didn't mean to offend anyone my ass. If you didn't want to offend anyone, you would have kept your mouth shut, but that obviously is a task too great.

Great post though proph, really shows your character!

There are so many irrefutable fallacies in your post that we could start an entire thread or instant message conversation and argue about it thoroughly, but for the sake of everyone here, let's not do that. Ok? But to be honest with you... I wasn't even talking to you in the first place, so it need not concern you. And yes, I understand you're a member of GFXoasis and you feel you owe them some sort of comraderie, but sorry to say, you don't. Anyhow, take it easy bud. And next time, try not to get mad over the internet.

Oh, and I'm not in high school. I'm in college ... San Jose City College to be exact. Just finished my first year there. And for the record, we were all high school students at one point in time, and not all of them are as 'narrow minded' as you suggest. Seeya, Fusion. :p

 Sad to see that a person (proph) judge another (me) because of them being 'too expressive and animated' to the point of calling them lame and saying they have created an e-persona without actually knowing them. If you think I'm expressive and animated online then you'd hate me in RL as I'm even worse..I bounce of walls in RL  Comes from my Latin heritage...you hold down our hands and we can't even talk  we're really similar to Italians in that respect :p

and as for me using too many emoticons?

     :pinch:  :p  :shifty:  :pc: :pacifier: :dontgetit:  :trout: :innocent:

..there ya go...that's my answer to that one :p and now that I know my use of emoticons bugs you I'll make sure to use even more of them

    • Zed 1.7.2 has landed with updated OpenCode models, bug fixes and other improvements by David Uzondu Zed 1.7.2 recently landed on the stable release channel, bringing a host of AI-related features including automatic context compaction and settings-based skill management, along with other things like better Markdown preview rendering and custom git commands in the graph view. Starting with the AI stuff, the developers introduced "/compact", a command that basically summarizes your conversation history on demand. This tool prevents your active chat window from hitting token limits by compressing older parts of the dialogue into a brief overview. In addition to that, the team relocated skill management to the settings UI, improving how the application communicates errors regarding those skills, and updated the OpenCode model roster to support DeepSeek V4 Flash, MiniMax M3, Qwen 3.7 Plus, and Nemotron 3 Ultra Free. External agent users can also monitor context window cost metrics and delete individual sessions directly from their history. Right-clicking ref labels in the git graph now opens a context menu that runs different actions against selected targets, kind of how VS Code does it. Here are some of the bug fixes this new release brings: The active agent fails to auto-select when creating a new git worktree. A scrollbar unexpectedly appears on wrapped code blocks in the agent chat. Collapse indicators for project headers appear when performing sidebar searches. Bracketed ellipsis title prefixes fail to show the ellipsis icon properly. Project icons render incorrectly in the recent projects picker. Diff hunk controls appear inside non-editable commit view multibuffers. The software update button hangs indefinitely on the downloading stage. Restoring an agent terminal in a remote project triggers a sudden crash. Splitting a pane that contains an active commit view causes a crash. Linux Wayland freezes when trying to read the clipboard from laggy external apps. Zed is a "newish" code editor trying to break the massive stronghold VS Code has on the developer community. Funny enough, the editor was created by former GitHub employees who worked on the Atom text editor (which Microsoft killed in 2022, several years after it bought GitHub). The project officially hit version 1.0 back in April, introducing platform parity for Windows and Linux alongside deep support for DeepSeek-V4-Pro.

    • The FIFA World Cup is not US centric.
    • It’s amusing how Microsoft is pushing IT admins as if this was a major, game-changing update. In reality, it’s just an enablement package that bumps the build number, which is disappointing compared to the more substantial 22H2 and 24H2 releases. Technically, 25H2, 26H1, and the upcoming 26H2 are essentially the same, differing only in support schedules. They could have included the Windows K2 improvements here, but chose not to. The era of Windows being in the backburner continues, and this 26H2 release feels like an afterthought. Shame, Nadella, shame.
