I've got a problem that I'm sure could be solved if I bought a

two or three hundred dollar PDA. The thing is I don't really

need a full featured PDA with all the bells and whistles.

You may have noticed (hopefully, some of you guys own one)

there is a device usually called an "organizer" that costs between

ten and thirty dollars. Most of big discount chains like Wal-Mart

and Target sell them.

One of its features is a calender function. You can set it to sound

an alarm on a particular date. I think some of them can be

programmed for an entire year. I need to know if there is

an "organizer" that can be set to sound an alarm on a

particular date that will keep repeating until it is manually

terminated by the user.

Here's an example of I mean. Let's say I set the calender

function to sound an alarm thirty days from today at 2:00 PM

in the afternoon. I want the alarm to sound for ten or fifteen

seconds at some interval. Every fifteen to thirty minutes

would be good until I manually terminate the alarm process.

When you take these "organizers" off the rack the packaging

provides very little information about the calender function.

So far, I haven't found a sales person who knows anything

about these devices.

Nutshell
