WNBA MVP Poses Nude for a Tribute Mag

Recommended Posts

Just saw this on ESPN

http://espn.go.com/wnba/news/2004/0618/1824568.html

Lauren Jackson posed nude for some magazine in Australia. Called Black+White and it is a tribute to the olympics. I guess sex really does sell.

PM if you have links to the pics. I have not seen them yet. Don't know if they are full or just sexy covered pics, but seeing a sports amazon sounds like fun. :woot:

Just did a Google search and found an article about it in her WNBA home town paper. It has a tasteful cover shot shown there with no nudity. Her hair covers all the key parts. I guess the stuff inside is the good stuff. :D

I'd post the pic but I don't know if that would violate anything, but figure if you want to click on the link to the newspaper article, their site shows it so it must be appropriate. Take a gander.

Kinda cute, eh?

You're right...sex sells like anything..

I was stunned sorta. It brings up an interesting thought about how you have to market some womens sports just to get an audience. We are a sexist society, that is for sure. I wonder if she is doing harm by extending the stereotype of women as objects instead of sports figures? That is a good debate point maybe. Hmm...

She is hot. Im gonna go searching for the pics :D

If you find them, please post or PM. I've never seen a 6'5" amazon blonde that is a WNBA star naked before. It would be fun. The magazine is $40 USD and that is too much for one lady. Thanks and good luck finding the pics. :)

Good lord people.

If those links get posted, warnings will go out immediately.

But PM'ing is ok, right?

The post to the news paper article with the image is not breaking rules, is it? I don't want to break rules. I was more about the effect on the WNBA but I have to admit, she looks cute and I'd like to see the pics too.:blush:h:

    • Windows 95 offered the ability to add and edit the right click menus, on a per file type basis. This feature seems to be missing in the new file explorer. Are they bringing it back as a "new" feature?
    • It's nearly time to replace my aging Founders Edition 3080, it doesn't OC as nicely as it used to and it's running around 10c warmer than it did when I first bought it.  I don't have budget for much more than what I spent on the 3080 and locally, that means the best GPU I can manage is a 9070XT. On this basis I have a few questions: 1. At present I don't use ray tracing, if this was to change, would this GPU be an issue? 2. How does it compare on a performance basis? 3. Are the drivers worse or better than those for nVidia? 4. Linux support, is it there? 5. Anything else I should be aware of if I were to make this change? 6. Is it a good idea or shall I try and keep the 3080 a little longer.
    • What OS is that? It looks a bit like Mac OS but the command line suggests it isn't, either way I like it!
    • Outlook classic is inherently better than new outlook, for a number of reasons. That said, if the only reason people need office is to read email, they should just use thunderbird.
    • Windows 11 is a big thumbs down from me. I used for a period of a few days while it was in insider and windows 10 was the main OS, and realised it wasn't for me. I am still waiting for Windows to be tolerable again, a shame as at one point I was very pro Microsoft.
