How to get in Taskbar?

I think it's a setting in the media player that comes with your windows 95 - 2000

you must have both XP and windows media player 9, right click on the taskbar, go to toolbars and put a checkmark on windows media player. you will get the controls on the taskbar only when media player is minimzed.

Is there a "Open File" button as well by chance? It would be handy to have when I wanted to open a different playlist without having to open winamp every time.

Anyway, just thought I'd ask :D

you can put shortcuts to playlists in quicklaunch or elswhere. But no open file that I know of.

Do you even know what you're talking about? If you're talking about the Windows Media toolbar for the taskbar that comes with WMP9 for XP, sure. But 95-2000? wtf are you smoking? hmm...you didn't even give advice. thats not even half-assed...thats NO advice.

as for the original poster...go to winamp prefs...plugins...general purpose...select nullsoft tray control...configure selected plugin. the icons are a bit ugly, but they work. you could always use global hotkeys, i find them more convenient. (Y)

Ya know IF any one wants to know how to change the icons in the Winamp tray plugin... All you have to do is open the .dll and change the icons to better looking ones. Back when I used Winamp I modded those icons here's an example.
