Hi every body. I want to announce you that a new Homemade File Manager is Coming

I dont create it with the conventional method ( The explorer shell into an application ). I program it from A to Z.

I ask the questions

"What do you want to see in a file manager"

"Do you have new actions to put in Actions sidebar"

"With feature is required for everyday use and not an Eye Candy Use"

I would kill to test that, but one little thing bothers me...the cartoony icons. I know they look that way in LH slate too, but I'd much rather see the nice Jade back/forward/favorites. Aside from that, is it EXCELLENT.

Hey i see your using LH gfx on that. Maybe a new interface would be a good idea just in case Ms picks up on it :). Id be happy to work with you and make a new interface :)

I was trying to look at the screenshots on that page, but I got sick of GAIN/Gator trying to install itself everytime the page refreshed... You might want to take Homer up on his hosting offer.

What a real file manager needs:

virtual groupings: I can group together files without moving their actual locations.

file notes: I can add a note or metadata to any file. e.g. add the author and url to a wallpaper image.

But adding note to file is in my project ""

I just add Virtual Grouping To my todo List : Fabulous & Great Idea !! tanks a lot !!!

Too funny

I love lost my time... it took me all the evening to finish Browsing engine..

After that i went wash the dishes...

During this time i had a super revolutionning idea...

I restart my Browsing engine from scratch this night, ...with an other radical way...

RESULT : i reduce my code of 267 lines of code !!! (before = 1621 , after = 1354 line for all application)
