Bart: Its dedicated to a good friend who's going away for the rest of the summer. I know the quality of the thumbnail is bad, but I couldn't turn off compression in the encoding program I used to alter the thumbnail image.

I like how the clouds turned out. I spent a long time trying to make them look nice. First tries were too fat, other tries just looked like lines, but I eventually found the right shape, and went on from there to make the shading. I'm working on everything at a resolution of 1024x768 on this LCD, and the shading at the tips looked very nice at the size I did the original.

One thing I did learn from all this though, landscapes are easy. Hills and canyons are easy. Oceans and lakes are easy. Distant mountains are easy. Clouds are a bit harder. Planes and wings are pretty hard to get the right perspective on. Jet engines are impossible. Drove me nuts. :p

You guys rock too. Helped me beat my old record for +favs on a deviation. :)

Beautiful work. I am always a sucker for vectored work. I guess I need to learn how do it sometime.

Good luck man, your work will be missed.

I hope you will not miss your friend too much, look anxiously for them to return, but dont worry about them being gone. (I hope that makes sense)
