How to close/end processes via command line

I have a few processes I would like to close/end and was thinking if such can be done via command line, so I can then make a .bat for all.

Well you can use Taskkill <processid>

Maybe to free up resources before running a resource intensive app or game? Makes sense to use a batch to kill all the processes you don't need then start the app, much easier than opening task manager & ending them one by one ;)

If you want to stop them from starting up when you restart your computer use something like msconfig and remove them from the startup list.

LMAO!!! YES! I used to do that to my friend a lot in different ways. Like create a batch file that does it and then put it on one of my friends desktops labeled as something else (one of my dumber friends). The guy I was doing it to didn't like it very much and now threatens my balls so I find others.
