Windows XP Service Pack 2 .iso

Unfortunatly i am on a 56k connection and there is no way i can download it through windows update,

i simply need Service Pack 2 (Release Candidate 2) as a cd image (.iso) so i can get on of my friends to download it and burn it to a cd for me.

You don't need it in .iso format, just download the network install from Microsoft and get them to burn that to CD. It's just a single .exe file.

If you have an MSDN subscription they have a ISO of XP with SP2 RC2 integrated.

it's also very easy to do that yourself, although not really recommended for a primary system.

Don't really see the point in all the fuss about you getting RC2. Wait another few weeks and get the final build :yes:
