Delphi 6

I have already posted this message in Software assistance, but I?m not getting any replies. So I figured maybee U guys could know what the problem is.

I?m having a problem installing "Borland Delphi 6 Enterprise Edition".

I always get this Error while installing : Internal Error 2349

The installation disk works on my friends computer. We had no problems installing Delphi 6 on his computer. But when I try to install it on my computer I get an Error.

Is there anyone who knows what the problem is or has an idea what the problem could be?

PS: It is not the CD Drive

I believe Delphi uses the M$ installer, so the following article should apply:

Well, the D6 installer should not cause any errors. If it does, there might be something with your system.

Like missing IE50 or IE55 or maybe the MSI installer files..

BTW what OS do you use (it is know that D6 has some problems with XP. It is Win2K certified). It is also known that Delphi feels best on a NT-core based OS (like WinNT, Win2K and WinXP).
