I'd rather take Nomar as a part of the three team deal. That would be awesome. We need a shortstop since Gonzalez is out and he doesn't produce enough when he is in to deserve the salary he gets. Then we could trade him for a relief pitcher or something if we got Nomar and keep Ramon Martinez as a backup.

I can't really argue with you there. Gonzalez really doesn't put out as well as... well... many other people could fill his position.

Since I have an educated on the line... Let me ask you a question.

Your (or anyone elses) thoughts : Sosa or Hollandsworth? Who would you rather see in right field? Personally, after seeing Hollandsworth fill in for Sosa while he was out, I would like to see him take a little time away from Sosa.

I don't think it'll happen. He's already 40 and his family seems to have "Settled down" in Arizona. I don't blame him Arizona is great place to live :)

I'm an optimistic Cubs fan....but honestly I dont see the Cubs picking up Randy Johnson.

They alredy have a contract problem next year with Clement, and they already have a stable pitching staff.

Unloading an angry Randy Johnson would be the best thing to do In Arizona.....can you say Rebuilding time?

I hear that! And even they have proven money can't always buy a championship. Would be cool if the Tigers could get him. Maybe they could win 30-40 games this year!! :p
