randy_tho
Yes, nothing with ammonnia. (Windex) My Thinkpad says use 50/50 alcohol/ water. I use a spray called Endust. Its in a bottle like the Kensigton stuff. A small bottle lasts me over a year. Also a 100% terry cloth towl like you would use on a car. Look for it in the automotive section of a store. Or those lense cloths like mentioned above. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/190654-lcd-monitor-questions/page/2/#findComment-585035617 Share on other sites
multimediatechy
I wouldn't get pedantic about cleaning a LCD screen because it isn't good for them to be smeared with water - try to keep it clean by not putting fingers on it at all (if possible). I use a duster cloth for mine and have only slightly used a new clean cloth with very small amount of water to clean it a bit (not much though). IK47
first, wipe with a dry paper towel to remove dust. Then use eyeglass cleaner to clean. eyeglass cleaner = 50% alcohol + 50% H20 Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/190654-lcd-monitor-questions/page/2/#findComment-585218062 Share on other sites
