Expect my builds to return tomorrow. However, because of the previously mentioned bug, I will be disabling the new updater tool from being included in the build.

The builds will definitely return tomorrow, as long as something extreme goes wrong. Chris Seawood was able to deal with my bitchiness and get a patch to solve the problems my particular set up was having with the new updater tool code. I'm hoping I haven't lost too many users during this hiatus.

I spent 10 hours over a two day period testing and retesting and so on and so forth until we got it right. Thank god they fixed it lol. Oddly enough, very few systems bitched about the small bug. Many builders were able to compile inspite of it.

I just installed the 05-07-14 build... and I'm writing this from it.

I'm just wondering why you don't make this a sticky... it's being bumped up to the top of the forum anyways...

I'll be playing around with this for work... it seems very fast indeed (once it's got through the usual Firefox startup delay).

hmm .. in one week, they bumped gecko version number from 1.8b2

to 1.8b3 and now 1.8b4. They didn't wanted to wait before 1.1b release to bumb it again ?
