I Know how you feel, I received my iWorks '05 and protection plan on monday and no computer till friday....What a tease!

Only the 15" and 17" models come with backlit keyboards. So no, mine doesn't have the backlighting. Truth be told, within 20 minutes of usage I managed to freeze the computer! (I'm not kidding). I inserted the Mac OS X DVD (just to check it out) and had System Preferences open - I was trying to change my trackpad settings. It stopped responding but I was able to move the cursor around. I didn't know how to "ctrl-alt-del" so I rebooted it... I don't know what went wrong!

It is running fine now, I haven't been able to do much with it (no Internet, I won't have the Internet on it for a while, until I get broadband). Other than the slight hiccup, it's fantastic! I only have to go back onto the PC for the Internet (for the time being). :)

On Mac OS it's Ctrl-Apple+Escape I believe.

Just received my iPod Shuffle! When I signed for the box I noticed it was a very giant box... So I looked inside to find tons of paper and another very small box that held the Shuffle. My god this thing is small!!! Its about the size of a stick of gum, I already love it!

Sadly I don't have a 2.0 USB port so its taking alot longer to charge. Ill post some pictures if you guys want later.

WELCOME THE G5 HOME!

The desk needs to be cleaned up, it's currently a mess.  What can I say, it came earlier than expected and I couldn't wait!

wow :woot:

notice how most ppl with Mac's desktops and bluetooth keyboards and mouses have really clean desktops (Y)

WinXPro, It's usually much cleaner, however I must divise a way to hide the Cinema Power Adapter. Currently it's cluttering my desk space! :) Also, I should have taken out my Acme keyboard protector.

very nice man... you are living my dream, i want a G5 so bad. BTW what kind did you get and what did you get side like ram and hd

I have purchased a Dual 1.8 (All I could afford at the moment and was in need of a desktop.) I packed it with 1GB RAM and just an 80GB hard drive. I don't use a lot of memory, at least at the present time. I have a habit of keeping only things I need. That would be my music and my school documents. The school documents take up no space, practically. Oh yeah, the photo library is some size too, but no where near 80GB so at the present it is more than suffice. the 1GB RAM, I figured I could purchase third party, should I feel the need I must upgrade. However, toying around with the system, I am not feeling a need. Not as of yet, anyhow.

Thanks for the compliments.

    • Formatting would be awesome if fully customised and then roll out the settings as a company wide standard.
    • I just want to know why the volume control feature in the browser version keeps appearing then disappearing, here today - gone tomorrow. Now it's gone again. Annoying as hell.
    • When you have only lies and blood libels to present, you've lost. And how hard is it for you to look up BBC and AP? You hate Jews, just admit it.
    • This article does not make sense and it’s very evident, the bug wasn’t confirmed to exist, because the application itself runs on editions of Windows which make it impossible to run Hyper-V VMs on, “Basically, Claude Desktop on Windows spins up a 1.8GB Hyper-V virtual machine if you use Claude Cowork or agent mode even once.”, suggests the bug is caused by something else otherwise it would only happen to users with the capability of running Hyper-V VMs and that’s only if Hyper-V was enabled which is by default not enabled. The true issue is that the author who reported the bug used the incorrect terminology, it’s actually a container, not a VM that is being started by the way. There were users on macOS reporting the same issue, Hyper-V, doesn’t exist on that platform obviously. Every single user who confirmed the problem in the last week was either using macOS making this issue impossible to be relevant to them, or was a comment talking about WSL, which the author indicated 3 months ago was disabled.
    • “To prevent hallucination issues and keep the database clean, the platform uses a multi-agent verification loop to check code quality.” - This absolutely isn’t happening. ”Before the massive rise of LLMs, which tanked its traffic by about 50% over the last couple of years, Stack Overflow was the go-to website for millions of programmers seeking coding solutions.” - It still is trusted, because the community of users, blocked other users from submitting false and misleading answers generated by AI agents that can be convinced something it generated is actually incorrect even if it’s actually correct. The company itself doesn’t know what it wants to be so it keeps trying and failing to introduce AI features to the platform. This effort will also fail, already submitted one successful poison pill, look forward to generating more.
