Well everyone, I sold my PowerBook and bought... a brand new Dual 2.0GHz G5! It is amazingly fast. I am in love.

The worst part? Well, look at that damn monitor! Suffering with this horrible CRT from the early 90's until my new Dell LCD gets here. I'll repost a new shot then, once it's all set up and nice-ified.

STFU!

I know it sucks...

ZZOOzzoo: Which monitor were you looking at getting? I got a 1905FP for $299 shipped ($479 with $200 off + tax) and got in right before the deal expired! I'd have liked one of the widescreen 20" or 24" monitors, but maybe later. This one will satisfy me for the time being.

Haha... yeah, it kinda detracts from even having the G5, as I feel that it's kinda useless at 1024x768... and 60Hz, so it's an eye killer too...

so by he you mean guy or girl, il have to be honest with you, that just looks exactly like a girl

Have been waiting a little while for this!

My Apple Mac Mini 1.42 / 1gb ram/ 80gb / Adobe Creative Suite / Tiger/ OfficeX machine :)

macmini.jpg

Its hooked up to a shiny Viewsonic VP171s 8ms monitor which suits it perfectly. Currently waiting on my new Apple Keyboard and Mouse from Apple UK - that older setup is borrowed from college, the media department took pity on my request as they know what its like having to wait! hehe!

macmini2.jpg

Wouldn't be the same without the matching iDuck :p

I absolutely love this machine. Silent, powerful, tiny... Looking forward to getting my external 200gb hard drive hooked up once the caddy arrives and having my matching keyboard and mouse. Oh, and should be getting a set of the JBL Creature II speakers once a paypal amount settles into my bank :)

Hope you enjoy looking at this thing as much as I do!

Ben.
