My first mac :D Little mini connected to a Dell 2405. The PC is under the table ... getting a lot less usage nowadays.

Need to figure out a reliable way to have a wireless keyboard and mouse with a KM switch. Any recommendations?

Nice set up bob. Is that the 2007 or 2407? Any banding issues with Front Row :)

Are you running any keyboard/mouse switch to control the mac and the PC? Which one are you using if you are? Any issues with it? I've been thinking about going wireless with the K/M but heard of some issues using a KM switch with the wireless configurations.

It's a 2007FPW, I had an original Rev A00 and that had banding, but my Rev A02 has none, or at least so minimal that I don't care about it (and less than my last 2 LCDs when I run the same test).

I am actually selling my PC, it is on eBay as we speak. Going to use the proceeds to pay for a new console, not sure which one yet. So I don' tneed the KM switch at this point, and very happy with the BT Apple Keyboard and MM.

Might grab an iSight soon, but I have questions on mounting it and adjustment options that I just can't seem to find answer too.

My latest mac arrived today finally! (dang fedex-- they held it over the weekend and I couldnt even arrange to go to their depot to pick it up on my own =\)

I need to get a new LCD, this 2005FPW is starting to bleed(?), i don't know what the correct term is, but it's slowly dieing.

I can't get used to the Bluetooth Mightly mouse, so i might be in the market for a new laser mouse, my mx1000 doesnt hold a charge like it used to.

I need to sell my Core Solo Mac Mini to help recoup the cost of this thing =) .. Coming to neobay soon!

Not really a 'fun' mac, it's more of a pro machine - who hopefully don't use their time browsing movie trailers =p.

The same logic more or less applies to the MacBook Pro.

I know a fair amount of people that own a PowerMac for doing their "power" processing as well as listing to music, play a movie or showing an slideshow. And, of course, Mac OS X Leopard will ship by default with Front Row.

Oh well, maybe the next gen Cinema Display will feature a build-in infrared receiver. ;)

That is something I have been wondering about. If it comes with Front Row, what are those of us that are still on PPC machines or those with a Mac Pro supposed to do about a remote? I could see them shipping leopard like with a bluetooth remote, but then that would make the IR receiver useless on the new intel macs.

Well I guess they could always sell a remote control and IR dongle type combo with the OS or as a separate buy. Hmmm...

    • I agree when are you going to read this (really poor BTW) article?
    • I disagree; they come off very "bitchy" and "whiny". Make a great product and combine that with a great price (free) and people will come over to your side. Or build it and they will come as they say. Constantly trying to get attention by complaining all the time, will turn people off to your product.
    • It use to be a nightmare, with LibreOffice supporting a newer draft ODF standard by default, and Microsoft Office supporting the older non-draft standard. Now that they both support the same version of ODF, they should be interoperable.
    • Brave Browser 1.91.171 by Razvan Serea Brave Browser is a lightning-fast, secure web browser that stands out from the competition with its focus on privacy, security, and speed. With features like HTTPS Everywhere and built-in tracker blocking, Brave keeps your online activities safe from prying eyes. Brave is one of the safest browsers on the market today. It blocks third-party data storage. It protects from browser fingerprinting. And it does all this by default. Speed - Brave is built on Chromium, the same technology that powers Google Chrome, and is optimized for speed, providing a fast and responsive browsing experience. Brave Browser also features Brave Rewards, a system that rewards users with Basic Attention Tokens (BAT) for viewing opt-in ads. This innovative system provides an alternative revenue model for content creators and a way to support the Brave community. SlimBrave Neo takes all the good things about Brave and makes them even better by keeping everything clean, light, and privacy-focused. It removes the extra clutter, turns off features you might not need, and cuts down on anything that could slow you down or collect unnecessary data. Because it relies on simple settings and policies instead of modifying the browser itself, you still get full Brave compatibility—just in a smoother, lighter, and more privacy-friendly package. • Hi. As the title suggests, I can't access the forum on my phone. I'm using Edge on Android and when I try to navigate to the forum I get a "we value your privacy" popup and none of the buttons are clickable. It effectively stonewalls me from reading any forum content.
